The roots of Glashütte Original reach back to 1845, the year in which the first master watchmakers settled in Glashütte. They realised their dream of an independent Saxon watchmaking industry. As a direct descendent of their art, today Glashütte Original carries their vision forth into the 21st century.

This first class mechanism originates from 1930’. I found it in an excellent condition without even a small scratch on it. All parts are genuine. The dial is original scratch less enamel is with Arabic figures. The fingers are also original. I made a new 14 ct white gold case for securing this unique mechanism. I added a black hand-made ray leather strap to this beauty which fits nicely to the black Arabic figures. On the 14 ct back plate the name of the watch was alloyed in with fine gold: Glashutte.
